Zachary Ward Holland Zachary Ward Holland, age 20 a resident of Willmar, Minnesota, former resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Monday, September 17th, 2018 at CentreCare Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Zachary was born the son of Isaac and Leslie Clare (Flanagan) Holland on October 22, 1997 in Jacksonville, Alabama. He was raised primarily in Colorado until eighth grade where he attended school, participated in Boy Scouts, numerous camps and sporting teams. Snowboarding at Telluride, Colorado and camping in Moab, UT were his favorite events. He graduated from Chillicothe High School in 2016 where in participated in Cross Country, Track, Golf, Choir, Theatre, Band, and various clubs. He attended the University of Minnesota at Morris where he studied science and was a member of the cross country and rugby teams. He was a proud member of the Cherokee Nation and he participated in the local American Indian Engineering and Science Association events while attending college. He loved the community of Chillicothe where he worked for three summers as a life guard at Chilli Bay Water Park and he was a member of the St. Columban's Catholic Church. Survivors include his parents, Isaac J. and Leslie C. Holland of Willmar, Minnesota; two brothers who serve in the Army, John Bailly-Holland of Englewood, Colorado, Noah Holland currently serving a tour in South Korea; two sisters, Madison Bailly-Holland of Waterloo, Iowa and Monica Holland serving an Army tour at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Vernie Lee and Georgia Ruth Holland and Margret (Nell) and William Patterson Flanagan, both grandparents of Coffeyville, Kansas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the St. Columban Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, September 22, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. A Parish Rosary will be held at the St. Columban Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, September 21, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. with a visitation to follow until 9:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday from 12 noon until 5:00 p.m. Burial will be held at St. Columban Catholic Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
