William Joseph Snyder

William Joseph Snyder William Snyder, age 63, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2013, at his residence. William was born the son of Harrison and Doris (McKee) Snyder on October 27, 1950, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He graduated from Chillicothe High School, Chillicothe, Missouri in 1968. He was a member of the Chillicothe High School FFA and the Young Farmers Club. He was united in marriage to Annette Posch on July 14, 1973 at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church at Leopolis, Missouri, north of Wheeling. William worked as a farmer and mechanic. While working as a mechanic he worked at Jones Ford Tractor, Summers Motor, Cooke Sales, and was a service manager for Orscheln Diesel. Survivors include wife, Annette and daughter Kathleen Snyder of Chillicothe, Missouri and daughter Elizabeth Snyder of Davenport, Iowa; one brother, Richard "Dick" Snyder and wife Connie of Chillicothe, Missouri; three sisters, Sharon Borrosco and husband Jim of Newbury Park, California, Jani Rolon of Rocky Hill, Connecticut, and Joni Bingham and husband Dennis of Plainfield, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Carole Leigh Snyder; and one sister Helen Manning. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, December 27, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, December 26, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, December 26, 2013 from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the Mount Olive Cemetery, Chillicothe, Missouri.
