William Ronald Depuy, Sr.

William Ronald DePuy, Sr. William Ronald DePuy, Sr., age 82, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Friday, November 16, 2018, at Morningside Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. William was born the son of William and Lorraine (Dymond) DePuy on October 29, 1936, in Lehighton, Pennsylvania. He served in the United States Air Force from 1954 until 1967. He was united in marriage to Leona (Nibarger) Wimmer on June 17, 1961. To this union, three children were born. He was then united in marriage to Patricia Muth on August 5, 1988, in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. She preceded him in death on November 14, 2010. William worked as a mechanic for the Tobyhanna Army Depot in Pennsylvania for many years. He was a member of the World Wildlife Organization. He enjoyed target shooting, and collecting antiques, watches, and coins. William enjoyed traveling and taking road trips. Survivors include two sons, Raymond DePuy of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Ronnie DePuy and wife Rochelle of Kansas City, Missouri; one daughter, Lorrinda Suddith and husband Jimmie of Chillicothe, Missouri; eleven grandchildren, Jeremy Buch, Kaci Howard, Robert DePuy, Brittney Crane, Derrick Lambert, Ashley Lambert, Cody Lambert, Ryan DePuy, Nicholas DePuy, Brianna DePuy, and Arminda DePuy; eight great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Carol DePuy of Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Patricia; one brother, Jack DePuy; and one nephew, Jackie DePuy. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. A schedule visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, November 19, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, November 19, 2018, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
