William R. Cashatt William R. Cashatt, age 91, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2015, at Saint Luke's on the Plaza, Kansas City, Missouri. William was born the son of William L. and Etta Alice (Adkison) Cashatt on August 22, 1924, in Breckenridge, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Fannie Marie McClelland on September 16, 1943, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She preceded him in death on December 9, 2010. William worked as an appliance repairman for Montgomery Ward before opening ABC Appliance and TV which he owned and operated for over thirty years. He was a former member of the Eagles Club 2428; United Commercial Travelers Association; and the Ancient Mystic Order of Bagmen of Bagdad. He enjoyed working on and building things. William served in the United States Army during World War II. Survivors include one son, Mike Cashatt and wife Karen of Bell, Florida; three daughters, Judy Boyd and husband Tony of Chillicothe, Missouri, Rita Roxann Ketchem and husband Richard of St. Joseph, Missouri, and Tina Munson and husband Terry of Chillicothe, Missouri; ten grandchildren, Amanda Hyland and husband Ronald of Parkville, Missouri, Marc Boyd and wife Lisa of Chillicothe, Missouri, Mason, Cody and Brennan Munson of Chillicothe, Missouri, Michael Cashatt Jr. and wife Celeste of Sebastian, Florida, Heather Cashatt of LaBelle, Florida, Jamie Cashatt and wife Lilly of Liberty Lake, Washington, Terry Green and wife Carolyn of Detroit, Michigan, and Molly McDonald and husband Charlie of St. Joseph, Missouri; eighteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Clyde and Earl Cashatt; and one sister, Ivy Burnett. Funeral services will be held at the Turning Point Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, September 10, 2015, at 1:30 p.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, September 9, 2015, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
