William "Bill" Ryland Zwygart

William "Bill" Ryland Zwygart William "Bill" Ryland Zwygart, age 92, a resident of Cowgill, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at Cameron Regional Medical Center, Cameron, Missouri. Bill was born the son of Charles and Francis (Evans) Zwygart on September 20, 1926, in Buffalo, Missouri. He served in the United States Army from 1945 until 1946, during World War II. He was united in marriage to Ruth Anne Bowman n June 24, 1951, in Cowgill, Missouri. She preceded him in death on November 24, 2006. Bill worked as the executive vice president for Farmers Bank in Polo, Missouri, for 37 years. He was a member of the American Legion. Survivors include one son, James Kevin Zwygart and wife Marilyn of Cowgill, Missouri; three grandchildren, James Curtis Zwygart and wife Megan of Polo, Missouri, Matthew Ryland Zwygart of Cowgill, Missouri, and Mitchell Austin Zwygart and wife Jami of Cowgill, Missouri; three great grandchildren, Karsen and Kenley Zwygart of Polo, Missouri, and Tucker Zwygart of Cowgill, Missouri; and one sister, Ruth Proctor of Lincoln, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruth Anne; one son, Richard Zwygart; one brother, Carl Zwygart; and one sister, Lena Fry. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Monday, October 8, 2018, at 1:30 p.m. There is no scheduled visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Sunday, October 7, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri.
