William "Bill" E. Stucker
William "Bill" E. Stucker, age 97, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2020, at Morningside Center, Chillicothe, Missouri.
Bill was born the son of Edward William and Artie Joy (Blunt) Stucker on February 22, 1923, in Kansas City, Missouri. He attended Northeast High School in Kansas City, Missouri. He served in the United States Navy from 1940 until 1945, during World War II. He was united in marriage to Lelia Ellen Constant on July 31, 1942, in Providence, Rhode Island. She preceded him in death on February 25, 2017. He worked as a cutter, packer, and plant manager at Lambert Manufacturing for 39 years. Bill was a member of the Church of Christ, Chillicothe, Missouri. He was also a member of the Vern R. Glick American Legion Post #25.
Survivors include two sons, Bill Stucker, Jr. and wife Sally of Columbia, Missouri, and Bob Stucker and wife Pam of Clinton, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Jeff Stucker and wife Mary of Independence, Missouri, Kevin Stucker of Kansas City, Missouri, Jill Stucker of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Carrie Smith and husband Eric of St. Louis, Missouri, Nicholas Stucker of Columbia, Missouri, Luci Faucher and husband Scott of Dixon, Missouri, Deborah Briedwell of Columbia, Missouri, and Nikki Antimi of Columbia, Missouri; seventeen great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lelia; one grandson, Michael Anthony Stucker Antimi; and two brothers, Henry Roger Stucker and Charlie L. Stucker.
Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, March 16, 2020, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to LICOVA (Livingston County Veteran's Association) and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
