William "Bill" Howard Shoop

William Howard "Bill" Shoop William Howard Shoop, age 81, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2014, at North Care Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri. William was born the son of Verner and Virgie (Gordon) Shoop on February 14, 1933, in Rothville, Missouri. He was a 1951 graduate of Rothville High School, Rothville, Missouri. William served in the United States Army from 1951 until 1953. He was united in marriage to Judy Lee McBee on June 1, 1963 in Brookfield, Missouri. She survives of the home. William worked as a truck driver for Churchill Trucklines and Gully Transportation for 26 years. Survivors include wife Judy Shoop of the home; five sons, Terry Shoop and wife Tambra of Savannah, Georgia, Tommy Shoop and wife Lois of Novinger, Missouri, Timmy Shoop of Rothville, Missouri, Tony Shoop and wife Angie of Jefferson City, Missouri, and Billy Shoop of Chillicothe, Missouri; daughter Jody Weir and husband Steven of Chillicothe, Missouri, son Donald Shoop and wife Joanna of Greenridge, Missouri; and two daughters Fern Albertson and husband Jerry of Meadville, Missouri, and Julia Sensenich and husband Greg of Chillicothe, Missouri; one sister Barbara Kahler and husband Duane of Mendon, Missouri; twenty grandchildren; five step grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and twelve step great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, October 2, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, October 1, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, October 1, 2014, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vern R Glick American Legion Post #25 and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
