William Robert Hunt William Robert "Bill" Hunt, age 88, a lifelong resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2015, at Golden Age Nursing Home, Braymer, Missouri. Bill was born the son of Kendrick and Ruth (Lee) Hunt on January 28, 1927, in Braymer, Missouri. He served in the United State Navy from 1944 until 1946. He was united in marriage to Annabel Widmier on August 4, 1946, in Braymer, Missouri. Following his service to our country, he began farming with his father. In 1964, Bill began working for the First National Bank in Braymer as a teller and later advanced to loan officer. He worked at the bank as well as farmed full time, running livestock and a row crop operation. In 1992, Bill retired from the bank and the farming operation so that he and his wife could travel and enjoy the grandchildren. He was a member of the Braymer United Methodist Church, Braymer, Missouri, where he served on the church board. He was also a member of the Missouri Bankers Association, past member of the Braymer School Board, the Trenton Coin Club and was a 4-H Leader. Survivors include one son, Brian Hunt and wife Vickie of Braymer, Missouri; one daughter, Ruth Ann Swindler and husband Dale of Braymer, Missouri; five grandchildren, Justin Bryce Swindler and wife Erika, Seth Ryan Swindler and wife Brooke, Emily Leann Swindler, Bradly J. Hunt and wife Rachel, and Kasey Brianne Hunt and husband Greg Wallace; and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife Annabel. He was always concerned about others and willing to help any way he could. He will indeed be missed not only by his family but friends near far. Memorial services will be held at the Braymer United Methodist Church, Braymer, Missouri, on Saturday, January 2, 2016, at 2:00 p.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the United Methodist Fellowship Hall, Braymer, Missouri, on Friday, January 1, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A private inurnment will be held at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri.
