Willard Alvin Silvey Willard Alvin Silvey, age 88, a resident of Hale, Missouri, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2013, at his residence. Willard was born the son of Roy and Bernice (Crosby) Silvey on March 26, 1925, in Hale, Missouri. He was a 1943 graduate of Hale High School. He was united in marriage to Hildred Irene Stinson in 1948 in Hale, Missouri. She preceded him in death. He worked as a farmer his whole life in Hale, Missouri. He attended the Full Gospel Church, Hale, Missouri. Willard loved reading, and enjoyed working at Grand Oaks Assembly. Survivors include one son, Lloyd Silvey and wife Netta of Hale, Missouri; two sisters, Veda Wilson and husband Junior of Hale, Missouri, and Norma Damon of Arnold, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Hildred; one son Leonard Silvey; and one brother-in-law, Robert Damon. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Monday, April 8, 2013, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at the Cameron Cemetery, Hale, Missouri.
