Wesley Allen Johnson Wesley Allen Johnson, age 22, a resident of Avalon, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2015, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Wesley was born the son of Donald Gordon and Cally Sue (Lawson) Johnson on May 14, 1993, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He attended Tina Avalon High School, where he was involved in FFA, FBLA, Basketball, Softball, Track, Trap Shooting, and was a member of the National Honor Society, graduating in 2011. After graduation he attended North Central Missouri College, Trenton, Missouri, graduating with an Associate of Arts Degree on May 9, 2014. Wesley was currently attending Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, Missouri. He enjoyed basketball, softball, hunting, fishing, trapping and spending time with his friends and family. Survivors include his parents, Donald and Cally Johnson of the home; one brother, Frank Johnson and wife Bailey of Norborne, Missouri; paternal grandmother, Merel Johnson of Hale, Missouri; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Allen Johnson; maternal grandparents, Calvin and Sally Lawson; Paternal great grandparents, Vera DePriest, Floyd and Pearl Johnson and Alta Johnson; aunt, Jan Lawson; and uncles, David Denman, Gary Lawson and Larry Lawson. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, September 26, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, September 25, 2015, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, September 25, 2015, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Avalon Cemetery, Avalon, Missouri.
