Wesley Allen Epperson
Wesley Allen Epperson, age 88, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri.
Wesley was born the son of Mary Lucille (Epperson) Miller on March 20, 1933, in Callao, Missouri. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War from 1952 until 1954. Wesley was united in marriage to Lois Marie Timbrook on June 30, 1951, at the Macon Baptist Church, Macon, Missouri. She preceded him in death on October 2, 2016. He worked as the parts manager for Barnes Baker in Chillicothe for 36 years. He was a member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, since 1965. Wesley enjoyed camping, fishing, putting together jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Duane Epperson and wife Connie, and Kevin Lee Epperson; one daughter, Kerry Ann Schneider and husband John all of Chillicothe, Missouri; six grandchildren, Stephen Epperson and wife Brooke, Shawn Epperson and wife Shelly, Jeremy Epperson and wife Monica, Melissa Williams and husband Clint, Jonathan Schneider and wife Krista, and Jordan Schneider and wife Ashley; fifteen great grandchildren, Chloe Epperson, Marley Symmonds, Lainie, MaKinlie, and Wesley Epperson, Tayler and Spencer Epperson, Mason, Sophia, Haley, and Jane Williams, Rita, Rudy, Addison, and Rowen Schneider; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother; his wife, Lois Marie Epperson; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lester and Leah Timbrook.
Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, December 17, 2021, one hour prior to the service at 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Friends may at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 12 noon until 7:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Grand River Multi-Purpose Center and/or Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
