Wayne Langan

Wayne D. Langan Wayne D. Langan, age 67, a resident of Springhill, Florida, former resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at his residence. Wayne was born the son of William and Elaine (Harney) Langan on October 13, 1949, in Rockford, Illinois. He served in the United States Army from 1965 until 1969, serving two tours in Vietnam. He was united in marriage to Barbara A. Murphy on July 13, 1976, in Rochelle, Illinois. She preceded him in death on April 24, 1999. Wayne worked for Union Pacific Railroad as a manager and road master for 38 years. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way. Survivors include his mother, Elaine Langan of Springhill, Florida; one son, Chris Konelas and wife Susan of Manchester, New Hampshire; three daughters, Trina Riley and husband Justin of Chillicothe, Missouri, Cheryl Kyler of Peshtigo, Wisconsin, and Tracy Greer and husband Omer of Carrollton, Missouri; twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one brother, Kurt Langan and wife Tia of Phoenix, Arizona; and one sister, Diane Waser and husband Joe of Springhill, Florida. He was preceded in death by his father, William; wife, Barbara; and one brother, Danny Langan. A private family graveside service will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, October 23, 2017.
