Wayne Monroe Hensley Wayne Monroe Hensley, age 86, a resident of Hale, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2016, at Centerpoint Medical Center, Independence, Missouri.   Wayne Monroe Hensley was born March 22, 1930 to Harry and Edna (McDaniel) Hensley on a farm near Hale, Missouri. Wayne attended grade school at Toe String School, Hale. Upon completion of the 8th grade, he joined the work force to help his mother financially because his father had unexpectedly died of a heart attack when Wayne was only 8 years old. He joined the United States Marine Corp in 1952 and served his country for 2 years. July 5th, 1953 he was united in marriage to Dylis Charoline Baker at the Hale Baptist Church. To this union, 3 daughters were born Karla Zoe, Ronda Jo, and Matha Dee.     Wayne was a member of the Hale Lions Club for more than 50 years. He was also a member of the Masons and the Masonic Lodge in Chillicothe. He served on the Hale School Board, Carroll County School Board, Hale City Council, and the Carrollton Civil Defense, Hale Cemetery Board, Hale Volunteer Fire Department and served on the Board of Directors for the Chariton Valley Telephone Company for many years.   He was preceded in death by his mother and father, mother and father in law, Kenneth and Katherine Baker; brothers, Kenneth Hensley at age 2 and Ralph & Helen Hensley and Claude Hensley and brother in law, Kenneth & Stella Baker.   Survivors include his wife Dylis of the home, Karla and Randy Foster, Hale, Missouri, Ronda Hensley and friend Ed Long, Raymore, Missouri and Matha and Bruce Moore, Liberty, Missouri. 5 grandchildren and their spouses Randall Foster, Hale, Craig and Brooke Foster, Hale, Wade and Callie Foster, Liberty, Bailey Moore, Hale and Jacob and Rachel Moore of Cameron. 7 great grandchildren Austin, Shelby, Aiden & Briar Foster of Chillicothe; Janie Foster, Hale; Easton and Ellie Foster, Liberty; Briley Singleton, Hale; and Lakota, Drake and Paisley Moore of Cameron. 1 sister, Anna Frances Wilson, of Mission, Kansas, one brother-in-law Darrell Baker and wife Evelyn and sister-in-law Pat Hensley, and several nieces and nephews.   Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Wednesday, October 12, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Tuesday, October 11, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri, on Tuesday, October 11, 2016, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Hale Memorial Gardens, Hale, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hale Baptist Church and/or the Hale Community Center/Heliport Fund and maybe left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
