Walter Bartholome

Walter Lee Bartholome Jr. Walter Lee Bartholome Jr., age 83, a resident of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2012 at his residence. Walter was born the son of Walter and Juanita (Davis) Bartholome Sr. on December 25, 1929 in Linn Co., Missouri. He was united in marriage to Louise Nadine Ewing, in Brookfield, Mo. She preceded him in death on September 3, 2004. Walter loved fishing, camping, riding his Harley and fixing watches. He is survived by two daughters, Diane Bartholome, of Kansas City, Missouri, and Vera Billings-Buchanan, of St. Joseph, Missouri; two sons, James Bartholome, of Independence, Missouri, and Vernalee Bartholome, and wife Ann, of Kansas City, Missouri; ten grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Louise Bartholome; and one sister Mary Lou Grimes. Services will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 3:30 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. There will be a family visitation on Saturday, September 8, 2012 from 3:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe on Friday, September 7, 2012 from 12 noon until 5:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Wheeling Cemetery, Wheeling, Missouri.
