Virginia "Ginny" A. Surber Virginia "Ginny" A. Surber, age 67, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017, at Indian Hills - A Stonebridge Community, Chillicothe, Missouri. Ginny was born the daughter of Earle and Bessie (Lewis) Lillie on October 22, 1950, in Corning, Iowa. She was a 1968 graduate of Lenox High School, Lenox, Iowa. Ginny moved from Lenox, Iowa, and made her home in Chillicothe, Missouri, in 1981. She was united in marriage to Charles C. Surber on December 19, 2003, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on August 19, 2004. Ginny worked as a homemaker and farmer. She was a member of the Chillicothe Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 2428. Survivors include three sons, Danny Swank and wife Amy of Trenton, Missouri, Rick Surber and wife Robin of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Cory Surber and wife Stacy of Wheeling, Missouri; two daughters, Nicki Swank of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Terri Cross and husband Doug of Villisca, Iowa; eighteen grandchildren; and twenty-five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles; one daughter, Brenda Muller; son-in-law, James Muller; one brother, Mike Lillie; and two sisters, Barb Shehan, and Susan Lillie. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, December 19, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, December 18, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, December 18, 2017, from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A private family inurnment will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri, at a later date.
