Virginia Gayle Bryant

Virginia Gayle Blackstone Bryant Virginia Gayle Blackstone Bryant, age 74, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2012, at Jefferson Health Care, Lee's Summit, Missouri, after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. On August 25, 1956 she was united in marriage with Richard Wayne Bryant. From this union were born three children: Debra Smith of Blue Springs, Missouri, David Bryant of Long Island, New York and Dana Phalen of Independence, Missouri. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren. Virginia was a homemaker and an only child. Having a family was a source of great joy for Virginia. Virginia taught in the Camdenton R-3 preschool at Hurricane Deck School where she shared her love of children. Virginia also enjoyed teaching Sunday school in the years preceding her illness. Private family graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri, on Monday, April 16, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
