Virginia Maxine Anderson, age 76, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri.

Virginia was born the daughter of Fountain Henry and Minnie (Boude) Anderson on March 5, 1948, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She attended Chillicothe schools. Virginia worked as a Nurse’s Aide for several nursing homes. She held many other jobs over the years, no grass grew under her feet. Virginia loved a good garage sale, she loved her nick knacks and her collection of little bears. She enjoyed cleaning and was an excellent housekeeper. Her grandchildren brought her great joy.

She is survived by her three sons, Jerry (Lynn) Perry, of Chula, Missouri, Joe Perry and James Silkwood of Chillicothe, Missouri; one daughter, Laura Waterman of Chillicothe, Missouri; 9 grandchildren, Cody Ramsey (Kaylee) of Chillicothe, Missouri, Tiffany Perry of Chula, Missouri, Kasey Perry of Brookfield, Missouri, Kameron Perry of Brookfield, Missouri, Skye Cashatt of Chula, Missouri, Asher Kellison of Meadville, Missouri, J.J. Kellison of Meadville, Missouri, James Dean Silkwood Jr. of Meadville, Missouri and Jamie Burkeybile of Liberty, Missouri; 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Claudia Hahn and Martha Anderson; four brothers, Tom, James, Jerry and Harold Anderson; one grandson, Ryan Funk; and one great grandson, Alexander Ryan Reed.
