Violet Marie Willard Violet Marie Willard, age 87, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2016, at Indian Hills Retirement Village, Chillicothe, Missouri. Violet was born the daughter of Maurice and Celestia Marie (Petty) Partridge on September 19, 1928, in Mooresville, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Russell Willard on May 11, 1947. He preceded her in death on August 10, 1979. She worked for Midwest Glove in Chillicothe, Missouri, for 20 years. She was a member of the Highview Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. Violet loved playing Bingo. Survivors include one son, Michael Ray Willard and wife Melody of Monroe, Washington; one daughter, Tisha Warren of Chillicothe, Missouri; and one grandchild, Nikki Dawn Willard-Jones and husband of Chula, Missouri; four great grandchildren, Shawnie, Quaid, Lavery, and Coy Jones; one sister-in-law, Alice Bennett of Kirkland, Washington; one nephew; and two nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Russell; and one brother, Jewell Bennett. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, May 3, 2016, from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Wheeling Cemetery, Wheeling, Missouri.
