Vicky Lynn Simpson, age 56, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2020, at her residence.
Vicky was born the daughter of William Leroy and Sharon Ann (Howerton) Simpson on April 8, 1964, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She was a 1982 graduate of Southwest High School. Vicky was self-employed doing automotive upholstery for many years. She was a member of Lifepoint Church, Chillicothe, Missouri. Vicky enjoyed social media, and music, especially Aaron Lewis. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her mother, Sharon Schneiter of Chillicothe, Missouri; two sons, Spencer Simpson and wife Brooklyn of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Dylan Prewitt and wife Caitlin of Urbana, Missouri; three grandchildren; one brother, Scott Simpson of Hamilton, Missouri; four sisters, Penny Snider of Hamilton, Missouri, Carmen Simpson of Mooresville, Missouri, Shanda Feeney of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Amy Nieman of Chillicothe, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; maternal grandparents, Perry and Jessie Howerton; paternal grandparents, Benton Simpson and Gertrude Renfrow; two brothers, Kelly and Mike Simpson; two sisters, Toni Phillips and Brenda Cranmer; and one niece, Rachel Leeper.
Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, September 4, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, September 3, 2020, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, September 3, 2020, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Mooresville Cemetery, Mooresville, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vicky Simpson Memorial Fund and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
