Vernon "Keith" Rogers Vernon "Keith" Rogers, age 31, a resident of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, former resident of Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Keith was born the son of Donald Gene Sr. and Joyce Ann (Weaver) Rogers on October 31, 1982, in Millington, Tennessee. He graduated from Sunnyslope High School, Phoenix, Arizona, in 2000. After graduation he attended Apollo Community College where he graduated with an Associate of Arts in Applied Science Degree with a major in Veterinary Technology. Keith worked in Newspaper Production in Wisconsin. He was a member of the Fundamental Independent Baptist Church in Flagstaff, Arizona. Survivors include parents Don Sr. and Joyce Rogers of Chula, Missouri; two brothers Donald Rogers II and wife Wendy of Phoenix, Arizona, and Nathan Rogers of Mesa, Arizona; two sisters Christalynn Criner and husband Mickey of Chula, Missouri, and Hillary Rogers of San Antonio, New Mexico; ten nieces and nephews, Jan Vetter of Nevada, Cassandra Peirce of Utah, Nathan Rogers Jr. of Mesa, Arizona, Jacob Rogers of Mesa, Arizona, Jaime, Madeline, and Emily Criner of Chula, Missouri, and Jazman, Lilly, and Dandylion Rogers of San Antonio, New Mexico; paternal grandfather Vern Rogers of Phoenix, Arizona; and six great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Andrew and Elizabeth Weaver and paternal grandmother Mary Rogers. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, November 11, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. There is no scheduled family visitation.
