Vera Lee "Sam" Richardson, age 65, a resident of Sumner, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe.
Sam was born the daughter of Doris Yazell on September 10, 1954, in Ohio.
Survivors include her son, John Richardson and fiancée Stephanie Gray of Brookfield, Missouri; two daughters, Michelle Smith and husband Alvin of Trenton, Missouri, and Tammie Rinehart and significant other Rodney Hunter of St. Louis, Missouri; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three sisters, Nellie Stone of Tampa, Florida, Alice Troup and husband Rick of Tampa Florida, and Terri Stowell of Tampa, Florida; one brother, David Yazell of Tampa, Florida; and life partner, Bruce Kirtley. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Roger Pettit.
