Velda Jo Bailey

Jo Bailey, age 76, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2011. Jo was born on June 13, 1934, the daughter of Rex O. and Velda V. (Vinson) Christy in Dardanelle, Arkansas. She was a 1951 graduate from the Central High School in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a member of the Church of Christ of Chillicothe, Missouri. She was also the co-owner of Bailey Studio in Chillicothe, Missouri since 1959. On August 12, 1951, she was united in marriage to F.R. Bailey in Kansas City, Missouri. He survives of the home. Jo is also survived by one son, Jeff Bailey and wife Evonna of Gladstone, Missouri; three daughters, Susan Jackson and husband Don of Chillicothe, Missouri, Janet Anderson and husband Brent of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Lisa Byrd and husband Tim of Altus, Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Linda Craig.
