Todd Wayne Burton, age 60, a Chillicothe, Missouri, resident, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022, at his residence.
Todd was born the son of Nolan Wayne Burton and Mary Louise (VanDusen) Burton on August 15, 1961 in Chillicothe, Missouri.  Todd graduated from Chillicothe High School in 1979 and obtained a Bachelors of Science degree in Business from Truman State University in 1983. He enlisted in the United States Army National Guard.  He enjoyed collecting coins and antique instruments.  He has worked for several years as the Livingston County Water District Superintendent.
Survivors include his parents, two sons, Kyle Burton and wife, Victoria of Trenton, Missouri and Blake Burton and fiancé, Dawn Cornell of St. Joseph, Missouri; two sisters, Tina Still and husband, Mike, and Tanya Burton, all of Chillicothe, Missouri; two brothers, Tim Burton and wife, Kerry and Travis Burton and wife, Ashley all of Chillicothe, Missouri; one granddaughter, Isabella Burton, of Trenton, Missouri; two dogs, Jack and Bandit,  and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clifford and Ellen Burton and maternal grandparents, Leroy and Gertrude VanDusen.
Funeral services  will be held at the St. Columban Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. There is no scheduled visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Columban Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Missouri or Forest O.
