Theresa Ellen Dillard, age 79, a resident of Laredo, Missouri, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri.
Theresa was born the daughter of Noel and Thelma (Rinehart) May on January 2, 1942, in Milan, Missouri. She was a 1959 graduate of Humphreys High School. Theresa was united in marriage to Robert "Bob" Earl Dillard on August 6, 1966, in Kansas City, Missouri. He preceded her in death on November 20, 2010. She owned and operated Country Curl Beauty Barn in Laredo, Missouri, for over 20 years. Theresa worked with her husband, Bob, driving trucks and was also the bookkeeper for their trucking company. She was a member of the Laredo Christian Church, Laredo, Missouri. Theresa was also a member of the Red Hat Club in Trenton, Missouri. She loved reading, crocheting, and sewing.
Survivors include three daughters, Laura Callihan of Laredo, Missouri, Mona Loyd and husband Larry of Laredo, Missouri, and Cindy Lanoie and husband Bill of Grand Prairie, Texas; seven grandchildren, Alaysha Pool and Darby of Olathe, Kansas, Harleyn Smith and Stephanie Engle of La Vista, Nebraska, Craig Loyd of Trenton, Missouri, Kaleb Shiflett and Lydia of Humphreys, Missouri, Kari Jobe of Berthoud, Colorado, Megan Lanoie of Irving, Texas, and Hannah Lanoie of Rogers, Arkansas; ten great grandchildren, Sara Pool, Fenix Pool, Ella Pool, Haleyn Smith, Ava-Lyn Smith, Alyssa Dalton, Hannah Shiflett, Katherine Shiflett, Lane Jobe, and Logan Jobe; and one brother, Gary May of Humphreys, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert "Bob" Earl Dillard; and one son-in-law, Toby Shiflett.
Funeral services will be held at the Laredo Christian Church, Laredo, Missouri, on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. There is no scheduled visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Laredo, Missouri, on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Humphreys Cemetery, Humphreys, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Humphreys Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
