Theora Overstreet Theora Overstreet, age 87, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2015, at Morningside Center, Chillicothe, Missouri. Theora was born the daughter of Ilef "Ted" and Eula (Reeder) Peterie on August 26, 1929, in Laredo, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Floyd Overstreet on April 20, 1979, in Miami, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on February 14, 2014. Theora enjoyed playing cards and crocheting Afghans. Survivors include one son Dennis Gear of Chillicothe, Missouri; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister Joyce Greene of Chillicothe, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Floyd Overstreet; brothers, David and Allen Peterie; and one sister Shirley Gear. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, June 30, 2015, from 12 noon until 5:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Richardson Cemetery, Laredo, Missouri.
