Theodore "Ted" Franklin Bealer

Theodore "Ted" Franklin Bealer Theodore "Ted" Franklin Bealer, age 87, a lifelong resident of Ludlow, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018, at his residence. Ted was born the son of Melvin Oliver and Imogene Ruby (Bales) Bealer on September 27, 1930, in Ludlow, Missouri. He was a 1948 graduate of Ludlow High School. He served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War from 1952 until 1954. Ted was united in marriage to Katheryn Mae McCartney on October 31, 1964, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She preceded him in death on December 15, 1990. He worked as a farmer his whole life. Ted was a member of the Ludlow Community Church, Ludlow, Missouri. He was also a member of the Monroe Cemetery Board, and the Vern R. Glick American Legion Post #25. Survivors include children, Harry Jones of Chillicothe, Missouri, Karen "Gig" Wilson of Ludlow, Missouri, and Rodney "Rod" Lee Bealer and wife Melissa of Boonville, Missouri; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Katheryn; infant brother, Curtis Wayne Bealer; and brother, Lloyd Eldon Bealer; one son-in-law, Ron Wilson; and one daughter-in-law, Nanette Jones. Funeral services will be held at the Ludlow Community Church, Ludlow, Missouri, on Thursday, April 19, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Ludlow Community Church, Ludlow, Missouri, on Thursday, April 19, 2018, one hour prior to the service at 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Monroe Cemetery, Ludlow, Missouri.
