Thelma Drummond Thelma Drummond, age 87, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Friday, June 27, 2014, at St. Luke's North Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. Thelma was born the daughter of Ross and Pearl (Hughes) Cooper on July 3, 1926 in Livingston County, Missouri. She was a 1944 graduate of Chillicothe High School, Chillicothe, Missouri. Thelma was united in marriage to Scottie Hobson on March 15, 1947. He preceded her in death on May 28, 1984. She was then united in marriage to Glen Drummond on May 3, 1997. He preceded her in death on January 8, 2009. Thelma attended the Calvary Baptist Church, Chillicothe and the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. She loved visiting with people and traveling. Thelma enjoyed her life and believed she had a great life. She most of all loved her cats. Survivors include three grandchildren; Jasmine Beal of Osceola, Arkansas, Adrienne Beal of Texas, and Brianna Beal of Osceola, Arkansas; and one brother Dean Cooper of Chillicothe, Missouri. She is also survived by a special friend Bob Boyd. Thelma was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands Scottie Hobson and Glen Drummond; one daughter Bonnie Hendrix; and one sister, Shirley Fifer; and one brother Ross Cooper Jr. . Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, June 30, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, June 29, 2014, from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Plainview Cemetery, Chula, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Plainview Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to the Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
