Terry Carder Terry Carder, age 68, a resident of Cowgill, Missouri, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2013, at his residence. Terry was born the son of Edwin and Frances (Payne) Carder on November 17, 1944, in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. Terry was a 1963 graduate of Excelsior Springs High School, Excelsior Springs, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Carol Parker on August 21, 1982 in Excelsior Springs, Missouri. She survives of the home. Terry worked as a painter for Dart Truck Company in Kansas City, Missouri, for more than 20 years. He was a member of the Cowgill City Council, the UAW Local 710, Kansas City, Missouri, and was chairman of the Bargaining Committee. Survivors include wife, Carol Carder of the home; five sons, Dean Carder of Excelsior Springs, Christopher Carder of San Bernardino, California, Gary Carder of Cowgill, Missouri, Adam Carder and wife Brianna of Polo, Missouri, and J. Carder of Cowgill, Missouri; one daughter, Teri Lantz and husband Ricky of Holt, Missouri; one brother, Michael Carder and wife Mary of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; one sister Connie Scott of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; seventeen grandchildren; and one great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be held at Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Tuesday, June 18, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. A schedules family visitation will be held at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Monday, June 17, 2013, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Monday, June 17, 2013 from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
