Susie Donzetta Perkins Susie Donzetta Perkins, age 76, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. Susie was born the daughter of George (Frank) and Ruby F. (McKay) Huffstutter on November 23, 1936, in Trenton, Missouri. She was a 1952 graduate of Galt High School, Galt, Missouri. She was united in marriage to Walter E. Perkins on March 5, 1955, in Trenton, Missouri. He preceded her in death on February 3, 1988. In 1959, Susie and Walter moved to Chillicothe, from Trenton, Missouri. She worked as an aide and bus driver for Verelle Peniston State School for several years. She attended the Church of Christ, Trenton, Missouri. Susie and Walter had many firework stands. Susie was an avid bingo player, and liked to travel and camp. She was a self-taught musician, and loved playing any instrument. Survivors include one son, Lowell Perkins and wife Rena of Lock Springs, Missouri; one daughter, Patricia and Donald Warren of Wheeling, Missouri; two sisters, Judy Klinginsmith and husband George of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Zella Whitney and husband Joe of Trenton, Missouri; brother-in-law, Eldon Cooksey of Trenton, Missouri; sister-in-law, Loree Huffstutter of Trenton, Missouri; three grandchildren, Luke Perkins and wife Tish of Lock Springs, Missouri, Justin Perkins and Sara of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Jared Perkins of Lock Springs, Missouri; three great grandchildren, Caleb, Liberty, and Ruger Perkins; longtime friend and companion, Jack Howe of Chillicothe, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Walter; five sisters, Rose Fellows, Thelma Hamilton, Irene Gagnon, Helen Huffstutter, and Ann Cooksey; four brothers, George, Jimmy, Bobby, and Harold Huffstutter. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, December 8, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, December 7, 2012, from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Trenton, Missouri.
