Susan Jean Smith, age 69, a resident of Kirksville, Missouri, a former resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at Northeast Regional Medical Center, Kirksville, Missouri.
Susan was born the daughter of William and Grace (Halladay) Smith on July 19, 1951, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She attended Verelle Peniston State School, Chillicothe, Missouri. Susan lived in Chillicothe, Missouri, until the mid-1980s, when she moved and made her final home in Kirksville, Missouri.
Survivors include three brothers, Jack Smith and wife Janet of Columbia, Missouri, John Smith of Trenton, Missouri, and Jim Smith and wife Rose Mary of Katy, Texas; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside services will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, June 7, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. There is no scheduled visitation.
