Steven Mack Totten, age 75, a resident of Breckenridge, Missouri, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2023, at Hedrick Medical Center, Chillicothe, Missouri.
Steven was born the son of Lloyd and Lauine (Townes) Totten on May 5, 1948 in Cedar Springs, Michigan. He graduated from high school in Michigan before enlisting in the Navy where he spent time on the ship, The Warden during Vietnam. It was there where he learned how to be an electrician. He spent his whole life working as an electrician for different companies.
Steven married Anne (Smith) Totten on August 22, 2010 in Jacksonville, Florida. After spending time in Florida, they eventually moved to Breckenridge, Missouri. They shared 23 years of love before he passed. Steven had a passion for fishing. He enjoyed fishing anywhere, anytime for any kind of fish! He felt one of his greatest accomplishments in life was accepting the Lord Jesus as his Savior.
Survivors include his wife Anne, of the home; two sons, Kelly Totten and wife, Destiny, of Midland, Michigan and Phillip Totten and wife, Ariel, of Midland, Michigan; two daughters, Holly Greer of Midland, Michigan and Heather Totten of Midland, Michigan; three stepsons, Jay Smith and wife, Michelle, of Seattle, Washington, David Smith of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Michael Smith and wife, Barbi, of St. Petersburgh Beach, Florida; nine grandchildren, Brock Totten, Donovan Totten, Drake Totten, Christian Totten and Caitlin Totten all of Midland, Michigan and Kristen and Kaden Thomas of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Sierra and Hunter Smith of St. Petersburgh Beach, Florida; and Sparkle and Boo the dogs and Lilli the Siamese Cat. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Michal Totten.
A cremation was held and there are no services scheduled at this time.
Arrangements are under the direction of Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri.
