Steven L. Klinger Steven L. Klinger, age 57, a resident of Browning, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017, in Chillicothe, Missouri. Steven was born the son of Walter and Phyllis (Masini) Klinger on October 14, 1959, in Sterling, Illinois. He worked as a welder for Conagra Fab for many years. He also worked as a custodian. Steven enjoyed dirt track racing, motorcycles, playing pool, growing the first and largest tomatoes, and cutting wood. He was a great story teller and led an adventurous life. He was his girls number one sports fan. Survivors include his mother and stepfather, Phyllis Meiners and husband Lyle of Sterling, Illinois; three daughters, Jessica Klinger of Browning, Missouri, Rachel Alexander of Brookfield, Missouri, and Samantha Klinger of Browning, Missouri; five grandchildren, Ransom and Gavin Wood of Browning, Missouri, Trace and Maxwell Alexander of Brookfield, Missouri, and Tinsley Search of Browning, Missouri; two sisters, Mary Benson of Georgia, and Karla (Klinger) Garza of Sterling, Illinois; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; and one granddaughter, Kendall Wood. A family visitation will be held at the Browning Community Center, Browning, Missouri, on Saturday, April 8, 2017, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. A private family inurnment will be held at the family farm at a later date.
