Stephen Dorney Timmons

Stephen Dorney Timmons Stephen Dorney Timmons, age 63, a resident of Racine, Wisconsin, passed away on March 25, 2016, in the presence of his loving family.   He was born on June 6, 1952, in Chillicothe Missouri, to the late Earnest William (Dub) and Gertrude Timmons. He was the third child out of twelve children. Stephen attended Wheeling School until 1966, when he transferred to Bishop Hogan. His high school years were at St. Joseph Academy until his senior year, where he attended Chillicothe High School. He played many sports throughout his school years. He then attended St. Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas, where he received a business degree in 1974. That same year began his career as a Sales Representative in the Kansas City Branch, where he also served as a Territory Manager. In 1982, he moved to the Plow Planter Factory as a Product Support Manager. He became a Division Marketing Manager at the Waterloo Tractor Works in 1986. In 1990, he was transferred to the Atlanta Branch where he worked as Branch Training, and Division Marketing Manager. In 1999, Steve transferred to China Operations. After China, he was appointed Manager, and Factory Marketing for the John Deere Des Moines Works. In October 2006, Steve retired from John Deere Company and moved to Racine, Wisconsin working for Case IH as Senior Director, Global Product Marketing, and was in that position at the time of his passing.   On October 18, 1975, Stephen married his high school sweetheart and love of his life, Clara Bow (Candy) Davis. Together, they had four children, Deborah Janell, Aaron Michael, Holly Marie, and Matthew Dorney. They have seven grandsons and are expecting their eighth in August. He was preceded in death by his parents.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the St. Columban's Catholic Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. A Parish Rosary will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. with visitation to follow. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, March 29, 2016, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Leopolis Cemetery, Wheeling, Missouri.
