Stephen "Steve" Peterie

Stephen "Steve" (Pete) Peterie Stephen "Steve" (Pete) Peterie, age 66, a resident of Laredo, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at NorthCare Hospice House, North Kansas City, Missouri. Steve was born the son of Alvin and Isabel (Grabast) Peterie on January 29, 1949, in Trenton, Missouri. He was a 1967 graduate of Laredo High School, Laredo, Missouri. Steve served in the United States Army from 1967 until 1971. He worked as a self-employed brick layer for many years. Steve was a member of the Laredo Baptist Church, Laredo, Missouri. Survivors include two sons, Bronson Peterie of Florence, Kansas, and Michael Washburn of Laredo, Missouri; one daughter, Brandy Peterie of Marion, Kansas; seven grandchildren, Keegan and Kolby Washburn of Princeton, Missouri, Cayden and Jack Tharp of Spickard, Missouri, and Hannah, Wesley and Addison Roberts of Spickard, Missouri; one brother, Neil Peterie and wife Mary of Bowling Green, Kentucky; one niece; two nephews; several great nieces and nephews; and several great-great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A private family memorial service will be held at Richardson Cemetery, Laredo, Missouri, at a later date.
