Stephen Kyle Rogers Kyle Rogers, age 38, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on, Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Liberty Hospital, Liberty, Missouri. Kyle was born the son of Kenneth Joseph and Cynthia Sue (McPheeters) Rogers on February 7, 1976, in Richmond, Missouri. Kyle was a 1994 graduate of Braymer High School, Braymer, Missouri. He was in housing construction in the Braymer area for 20 years. Kyle was the assistant coach for Gabe's baseball and Junior League Football programs. Kyle was so proud of Gabe's triple play in the league tournament. They enjoyed swimming at the Chillicothe pool every summer. He also enjoyed painting and drawing. Kyle was a member of a local rock band for two years. He played the electric guitar and sang and composed songs. Kyle loved the outdoors, watching Chiefs football and the history channel. He worked in the logging/timber salvage business for five years. He also worked at McElwee Construction for eight years. Kyle was baptized in the McBee Chapel. He took Gabe to be baptized in the Braymer United Methodist Church. In 2003 Kyle and his brother Kent built a new addition to their parents' home. Survivors include one son, Alexander Gabe Rogers of Braymer, Missouri; one brother Kent Rogers and wife Katy of Braymer, Missouri; two sisters, Rachelle Rogers of Sedalia, Missouri, and Candecea Steele and husband Steve of Fort Collins, Colorado; two nephews; and five nieces. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Forrest and Reta (Reve) Rogers. A private family graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri, on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. A visitation will be held at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Monday, April 14, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friends may call at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Monday, April 14, 2014, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Gabe Rogers and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
