Stanley Joseph Walby Stanley Walby, age 85, a resident of Avalon, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, August 01, 2013, at Cameron Regional Medical Center, Cameron, Missouri. Stanley was born the son of Wesley Albert and Mary Jane (Hills) Walby on November, 06, 1927, in Wheeling, Missouri. Stanley moved to the farm at Avalon, Missouri in 1947 from Livingston County. He was united in marriage to Shirley Snyder on October 8, 1955 in Lucerne, Missouri. She survives of the home. Stanley worked as a farmer and mechanic. Stanley was a member of the Oakland Christian Church. He was a member of the Hale Masonic Lodge #216 for more than 60 years. His hobbies included rebuilding antique cars, gardening, and selling sweet corn and tomatoes. Survivors include wife Shirley of the home; one son Carl Walby of Hale, Missouri; two daughters Rhonda Webber and husband Gary of Unionville, Missouri, and Brenda Corzette and husband Randy of Bettendorf, Iowa; He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Clarence Walby, Hubert Walby and James Walby; one infant son Albert Seldon Walby; and one grandson Levi Corzette. Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, August 4, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. A Masonic Service will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, August 3, 2013, at 6:00 p.m. with a family visitation to follow. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri on Saturday, August 3, 2013 from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Wheeling Cemetery, Wheeling, Missouri.
