Stanley Vulgamott Stanley Vulgamott, age 86, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, formerly of Independence, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at Livingston Manor, Chillicothe, Missouri. Stanley was born the son of Spencer and Marie (Tingler) Vulgamott on August 13, 1931, in Rifle, Colorado. He was a 1950 graduate of Raven Wood High School. He was united in marriage to Ruth L. O'Bannon on August 29, 1949. She survives of the home. Stanley worked for Skelgas for many years. He also worked construction in Independence, Missouri, for over 30 years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Stanley enjoyed woodworking. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Vulgamott of the home; one son, Kerby Vulgamott and wife Mary of Chillicothe, Missouri; three grandchildren, Sarah Fromal of Wallingford, Pennsylvania, Kerby Vulgamott, Jr., and Nicole Stewart of Herculaneum, Missouri, and Chad Vulgamott of Chillicothe, Missouri; one brother, Bill Vulgamott of Jacksonville, Florida; two sisters-in-law, Shirley Vulgamott of St. Joseph, Missouri, and Rita Alexander of Loveland, Colorado; one brother-in-law, James Hartman of Maryville, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Barbara Rumsey and Sarah Hartman; and three brothers, Robert, Roland, and "Ted" Vulgamott. Cremation was held.
