Stanley O'Dell Stanley O'Dell, age 79, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at his residence. Stanley was born the son of Charles and Abbie (Hatfield) O'Dell on December 15, 1934, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was united in marriage to Velda Molloy on May 22, 1954, in Chillicothe, Missouri. She survives of the home. Stanley owned and operated Red Ball Salvage in Chillicothe since 1975. He worked at L & O and Lionberger Auto Sales for 25 years. Stanley was a member of the Alpha Baptist Church and attended Calvary Baptist Church, Chillicothe. He was also a member of the Chillicothe Park Board and the Livingston County Men's Democratic Club. He enjoyed goose and duck hunting, and mushroom hunting. He loved watching Nascar, especially the late Dale Earnhardt No. 3, and the Kansas City Chiefs. Stanley also enjoyed traveling and cars. He was a Special Deputy for Sheriff Leland O'Dell. Survivors include his wife, Velda O'Dell of the home; one daughter Kathy O'Dell of Richmond, Missouri; two grandchildren Natalie McLean and husband Joe of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, and Rachel Trump of Chillicothe, Missouri; four great grandchildren, Madi Condron of St. Louis, Missouri, Cassidy Trump of Trenton, Missouri, Mark Riley Trump of Trenton, Missouri, and Lydia McLean of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; and two brothers, Vernon O'Dell and wife Joy of North Fort Meyers, Florida, and Donald O'Dell and wife Betty of Chillicothe, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter Carol Ann O'Dell; three brothers, Robert, Charles, and Benny O'Dell; and five sisters, Lula Burton, Gloria Moon, Nellie Windle, Alice Cashatt, and Bessie O'Dell. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, May 16, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, May 15, 2014, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Alpha Cemetery, Alpha, Missouri.
