Stanley Dean Lovell

Stanley Dean Lovell, age 64, a resident of Laredo, Missouri, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024, at the home of his mother, in Chillicothe, Missouri. He was born the son of Robert A. and Barbara (Harris) Lovell on March 30, 1959, in Trenton, Missouri. He was a 1977 graduate of Trenton High School, Trenton, Missouri. Stanley was united in marriage to Judith “Judy” Tate, on December 11, 2011. She preceded him in death on September 30, 2016.

He worked as a diesel mechanic for J. D. Bentley and for Gabrielson’s for many years. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending time with his family. He was a homebody at heart.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Bowe of Chillicothe, Missouri; brothers, Neal Lovell (Margaret) of Jamesport, Missouri, and Dale Lovell (Brenda Hatfield) of Trenton, Missouri; sister, Brenda Dye (Jim) of Kansas City, Missouri; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife, Judith; his father, Robert A. Lovell, in 1988; and his step-father, Lloyd Bowe, in 2017.

Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. There is no scheduled visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home on Friday, March 15, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Trenton, Missouri.
