Sidney P. North Sidney North, age 69, a resident of Parkville, Missouri, went to be with our Lord on October 19, 2012. Sidney was born on November 12, 1942 in rural Carroll County. He attended Woods School and graduated from Braymer High School, Braymer, Missouri. After graduation Sidney joined the U.S. Navy and spent four years on the aircraft carrier, U.S.S. Midway. He later attended Arizona State University where he earned a B.S. in Marketing and then he went to Pepperdine University for his M.B.A. On September 9, 1966, he was united in marriage to Jeanne DeBolt in Columbia, Missouri. She survives of the home. Sidney loved telling jokes, following his favorite sports teams, which included MU football and basketball, and the St. Louis Cardinals. He also loved doing wood projects, playing the guitar, and gardening. Everyone who heard him said he had a beautiful singing voice and was often called "Mr. Radio Voice." He is survived by his wife, Jeanne North; one daughter Christine (North) Gran, and husband, Charles Gran, of Kirksville, Missouri; two grandchildren, Samantha Gran, and Jason Gran, both of Kirksville; one son Erik North, of Oregon City, Oregon; one sister Kay Jones, of Kansas City, Missouri; two brothers, Lowell North and wife, Judy North, and Richard North, and wife Kim, all of Lee's Summit, Missouri. Other close family includes, one niece, Kimberly (Jones) Foster, of Kansas City, Missouri; nephew, Mark Thomas, of Granite City, Illinois; David North, of Troy, Illinois, and Douglas North of Lee's Summit, Missouri. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Enon Baptist Church, Enon, Missouri. There is no scheduled visitation scheduled. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date at the Enon Cemetery, Enon, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sidney P.
