Shirley Wallace

Shirley Ann Wallace, age 75, a resident of Hale, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2012, at her residence. Shirley was born the daughter of Milton P. and Velma Faye (Crosley) Minnis on September 2, 1936 near Bogard, Missouri. She was a 1954 graduate of Hale High School. On December 15, 1963 she was united in marriage to Billy E. Wallace in Harrisonville, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on January 27, 1992. Shirley was the owner of Shirley's Ice Service of Hale, Missouri for forty years. She was a member of the Red Hatters Society. She was a member of the Hale Baptist Church, Hale, Missouri. Shirley is survived by one son, Jered Wallace and wife Angela of Brookfield, Missouri; two daughters, Theresa (Wallace) Rogers of Columbia, Missouri, and Vicki Treffer of Gladstone, Missouri; one brother, Dale Minnis and wife Fern of Independence, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Allisha Eckert and husband Dennis, Kyle McBee and wife Erica, Taylor, Tanner, and Anna Wallace, Melanie Lang and husband Phillip, Ashley Rogers and fiancé Steven Burns, Stacy Rogers and friend Matt Tracy; three great-grandchildren, Mason Eckert, Lily Burns, and Dyson Tracy. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Wallace; and one infant brother, Theodore Minnis. Services will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri. There will be a family visitation held on Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Hale, Missouri on Friday, June 15, 2012 from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Hale Memorial Gardens, Hale, Missouri.
