Shirley Ann Thorne Speicher Shirley Speicher, age 76, a resident of Meadville, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at her residence. Shirley was born the daughter of Richard Chapman and Clara Eulav (Dennis) Thorne on July 27, 1937, in Chula, Missouri. She was a 1954 graduate from Laredo High School, Laredo, Missouri. Shirley was united in marriage to David "Spike" Speicher on December 29, 1988 in Chillicothe, Missouri. He survives of the home. Survivors include, husband David "Spike" Speicher of the home; two sons, Leslie Cook and companion Vickie Lingard of Meadville, Missouri, and David Speicher Jr. and wife Jodi of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota; three daughters, Beverly Howe and husband Steve of Wheeling, Missouri, Connie Burton and husband Nelson of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Renee Speicher and husband Rick Prigmore of Rolette, Texas; two brothers Bill Thorne and wife Martha of Chillicothe, Missouri, and Dennis Thorne and wife Melinda of Chula, Missouri; eleven grandchildren, Tanya Letourneau and husband Bryan of Port St. Lucie, Florida, Darla Govoni and husband David of Brimfield, Massachusetts, Lendy Donoho and husband Jimmy of Wheeling, Missouri, Jana Brobst and husband Jason of Chula, Missouri, Melissa Vestal and husband Bobby of Moberly, Missouri, Matthew Burton and wife Sarah of Kansas City, Missouri, Tara Burkeybile and husband Bobby of Trenton, Missouri, Misty Lingard and fiancé Nic Hanes of Trenton, Missouri, Brady and Tyler Speicher of Sauk Rapids, Minnesota, and Grace Prigmore of Rolette, Texas; fourteen great-grandchildren, Jeri and Steven Govoni, Hope and Howie Donoho, Gunner and Gage Brobst, Allyson and Brody Vestal, Sylvia Burton, Gabby Griffin, Nate, Rich, and Austin Burkeybile, and Payton Hanes; sister-in-law Bernice Thorne of Raytown, Missouri; one brother-in-law, Dick Speicher of Wisconsin; and best friend and caregiver Cheryl Braden of Las Vegas, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother Dick "Richard" Thorne; and a granddaughter Leslie Ann Cook. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, May 9, 2014, at 12 noon. A scheduled family visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday, May 9, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. until 12 noon. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Thursday, May 8, 2014, from 12 noon 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Plainview Cemetery, Chula, Missouri.
