Shirley Anne Rosenbach, age 77, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away Friday, April 20, 2012, at Morningside Center in Chillicothe, Missouri. Shirley was born in Chillicothe, Missouri, on July 6, 1934, the daughter of Alfred Herman and Bessie Elberta (Dawkins) Niehaus. She was a 1952 graduate of Chillicothe High School. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Chillicothe, Missouri, and the Chillicothe Chapter 113 Order of the Eastern Star. She worked as a Southwestern Bell telephone operator for many years and retired from Midwest Quality Gloves in 2007. She loved spending time with her grandkids and playing the piano. Survivors include her son, Mark Rosenbach and wife Sonya of Chillicothe, Missouri; grandchildren, Emily Anne Rosenbach and Dalton Ray Rosenbach; sister, Sonna Lou Day Solce of Heron, Montana; and sister-in-law, Lois Niehaus of Chillicothe, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Larry Niehaus; and niece, Therese Lorenz. Funeral services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Monday, April 23, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Sunday, April 22, 2012, from 12:00 noon until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be held in Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Chillicothe, Missouri.
