Shirley Marie (Hussey) Lollar

Shirley Marie (Hussey) Lollar Shirley Lollar, age 74, a resident of Avalon, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at her residence. Shirley was born the daughter of John and Cora (Whitt) Harper on February 21, 1938 in Sampsel, Missouri. On May 23, 1964 she was married to Gerald Dee Hussey in Chillicothe, Missouri. He preceded her in death on May 6, 1997. On September 24, 2000 she was married to Harold Lollar Jr. in Avalon, Missouri. He survives of the home. She made her home in Avalon since 1964. Prior to that she lived in Laredo and Spring Hill, Missouri. She was the owner and operator of the Play House Bar and Grill in Avalon, Missouri. She was a former member of the Chillicothe Eagles Club Aerie No. 2428 as well as a member of the Methodist faith. Shirley is survived by husband, Harold Lollar of the home; son, Ricky L. Hussey and wife Kim of Avalon, Missouri; two daughters, Willie J. Barnett and husband Darrell of Lawson, Missouri, and Dee Dee Hussey - Hardesty and husband Teague of Englewood, Florida; one step-son, Mike Lollar and wife Kim of Chillicothe, Missouri; two step-daughters, Lori Moore and husband Steve of Liberty, Missouri and Lisa Lollar of Liberty, Missouri; two sisters, Opal Pfauth of Wheeling, Missouri, and Charlotte Mann and husband Otis of Mooresville, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Clint Hussey and wife Angela of Avalon, Missouri, Blaze Hussey of Avalon, Missouri, Spencer Hussey of Tina, Missouri, Cindy and Cassie McKernan of St. Joseph, Missouri, Clay Corf of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, and Logan Barnett of Lawson, Missouri; two great-grandchildren, Jeri Hussey of Avalon, Missouri, and Nikolai Corf of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; step grandchildren, Drew Lollar and wife Jenny of St. Joseph, Missouri, Tiffany Shiflett and husband Nick of Meadville, Missouri, Brooklyn Cameron and husband Quentin of Union Star, Missouri, Morgan Ireland and husband Zac of Dawn, Missouri, Haylee Moore of Liberty, Missouri, April Biggerstaff of Kansas City, Missouri, and Megan Biggerstaff of Salt Lake City, Utah; step-great-grandchildren, Emma Lollar of St. Joseph, Missouri, Gauge and Gavin Shiflett of Meadville, Missouri, Bentlee Cameron of Union Star, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald Hussey; six brothers, Loyd, John, Orville, Roy Everett, Otis, and Marvin; three sisters, Jessie Howerton, Marjorie Simpson, and Velma Reynolds; and infant great-grandson, Woody Hussey. Services will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri. There will be a family visitation on Monday, June 18, 2012 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home on Monday, June 18, 2012 from 12 noon until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Avalon Cemetery, Avalon, Missouri.
