Shirley Jean Haughton, age 67, a resident of Braymer, Missouri, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2020, at her residence.
Shirley was born the daughter of Forrest and Yovonne (Campbell) Benolken on June 14, 1952, in Omaha, Nebraska. She was a 1970 graduate of Benson High School in Omaha, Nebraska. Shirley was united in marriage to Bob Haughton on May 9, 1970, in Omaha, Nebraska. He survives of the home. She was a member of the Braymer Christian Church, Braymer, Missouri. She enjoyed gardening, and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.
Survivors include her husband, Bob Haughton of the home; three sons, Jeff Haughton and wife Melissa of Braymer, Missouri, David Haughton and wife Michelle of Braymer, Missouri, and Steven Haughton and wife Kara of Braymer, Missouri; ten grandchildren; one sister, Joyce Lamberty of Gulf Port, Mississippi; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Susan Hartzell.
A graveside service will be held at Black Oak Cemetery, Braymer, Missouri, on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at 11:30 a.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Pitts Funeral Home, Braymer, Missouri, on Tuesday, May 26, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Black Oak Cemetery and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O.
