Sheila Tanner

Sheila "Diane" (Hutt) Tanner, age 59, a resident of rural Cowgill, Missouri, died in Liberty on Thursday, February 24, 2011. Diane was born in Maryville, Missouri on December 15, 1951, the daughter of Harold Edward Hutt and Sarah (Harness) Hutt. On August 27, 1977 she married Charles Tanner. He survives of the home. Diane was a member of the St. Paul's Christian Union Church of Knoxville, Missouri. She was a board member at the Inspiration Hill's campground. Diane also helped raise and care for several nieces and nephews and babysat many kids. She also worked as a homemaker. She is survived by her mother, Sarah Hutt of Liberty, Missouri; one step son, Chris Tanner of Cowgill, Missouri; two brothers, Steve Hutt and wife Laura of Minneapolis, Minnesota, David Hutt and wife Lisa of Kansas City, Missouri; one sister, Gwen Schottel and husband Ken of Kansas City, Missouri; two grandsons, Conner Tanner and Ashton Tanner; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, and aunts and uncles.
