Sharron Louise (Kerby) Elkins, age 75, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri and a former resident of Tina, Missouri passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Morningside Center, Chillicothe, Missouri.
Sharron was born the daughter of Clifford Wilson and Grace Louise (Key) Kerby July 10, 1946 in Carrollton, Missouri. She was a member of the Tina Baptist Church. On March 7, 1970, she married Charles G. Elkins, Jr. He preceded her in death on April 17, 2007. She enjoyed visiting with family, going on long walks and watching game shows. She very much enjoyed and appreciated her Morningside Center friends and family where she resided for the past 13 years.
Sharron is survived by two daughters, Dorothy Wooden, and husband, Shawn of Dawn, Missouri and Mary Hill, and husband, John of Tina, Missouri; four grandchildren, Ryan Wooden of Kansas City, Missouri, Michelle Sisk and husband, Wayne of Bentonville, Arkansas, Mariah Hutcherson and husband, Brandon of Hale, Missouri and Zane Hill of Tina, Missouri; and one great-grandson, Gabe Sisk of Bentonville, Arkansas; two sisters, Mary Francis and husband, Bob of Bogard, Missouri and Janie Psota and husband, Gary of Bogard, Missouri and one brother, Larry Lee Kerby and wife, Evelyn of Bogard, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and two brothers, Clifford Russell Kerby and Robert Earl Kerby.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Tina, Missouri, on Friday, April 8, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. A scheduled visitation will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Tina, Missouri, Friday, April 8, 2022, at 12:30 p.m., thirty minutes prior to service time. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Tina, Missouri on Friday, April 8, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Inurnment will be held at a later date at the Coloma Cemetery, Coloma, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to The Sharron Elkins Memorial Fund and may be left at or mailed to the Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri, 64601.
