Shari Lee Stephens, age 59, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at her residence.
Shari was born the daughter of Bob and Carolyn (Hurst) Stephens on October 6, 1959, in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. She was a 1977 graduate of Anderson Township High School. Mt. Washington, Ohio. She then attended Moorhead State University graduating in 1981 with a bachelor's degree in physical education. She then moved to Houston, Texas, in 1994. In 2003, Shari made her home in Chillicothe, Missouri, where she was a member of the Turning Point Church.
Survivors include her mother, Carolyn Stephens of Venice, Florida; daughter, Laura Hausfeld of Chillicothe, Missouri; one sister, Beth Newman and husband Edward of Spring, Texas; two nieces; one great niece; and one great nephew. She was preceded in death by her father; and maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Edna Hurst.
A memorial service will be held at the Turning Point Church, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. There is no scheduled visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, from 12 noon until 6:00 p.m. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date at Plainview Cemetery, Chula, Missouri.
