Selby "Seb" D. Engleman Seb Engleman, age 84, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, former resident of Meadville, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2013, at his residence in Chillicothe. Seb was born the son of John and Ruth (Selby) Engleman on April 10, 1929, in Alpha, Missouri, near Laredo. He was united in marriage to Letha Kilburn on July 3, 1951 in Trenton, Missouri. She survives of the home. Seb served as a member of the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked as a farmer and also at Donaldson's Company, Chillicothe, for 34 years. He was a member of the Linneus Baptist Church, the UAW Local #710. He loved his cattle and farming and loved to go to cattle sales. Survivors include his wife Letha Engleman of the home; one son Mark Engleman of Meadville, Missouri; one daughter Lori Churchill of Chillicothe, Missouri; one brother Frank Engleman of Galt, Missouri; one sister Mary Ann Sims of Trenton, Missouri; one grandson, Trinity Thomas of Columbia, Missouri; and one granddaughter Megan Churchill of Chillicothe, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son Veron Daniel Engleman; one sister-in-law Levelyn Engleman; and one brother-in-law Glenn Dean Sims. Funeral services will be held at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Saturday, August 10, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. There is no scheduled family visitation. Friends may call at the Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri, on Friday August 9, 2013, from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Wheeling Cemetery, Wheeling, Missouri. Memorial contributions made be made to the St. Luke's Hospice and may be left at or mailed to Lindley Funeral Home, P.O. Box 47, Chillicothe, Missouri 64601.
