Sarah M Winsor

Sarah M. Winsor, age 75, a resident of Chillicothe, Missouri, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospice House, Kansas City, Missouri. She was born the daughter of Clarence and Dorothy (Haun) Cossins on October 1, 1947 in Sheridan, Missouri. She was a 1966 graduate of Sheridan RII High School. She was united in marriage to Robert Winsor on December 5, 1969 in Grant City, Missouri. He preceded her in death on December 5, 2014.

She was a caregiver for Community Options, Chillicothe, Missouri, for many years. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church, Chillicothe, Missouri.

She is survived by two sons, Arthur Winsor and wife, Glenda of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, and Jerald Winsor and Angie Ranes of Stanberry, Missouri; one daughter, Wanita Bowman of Liberty, Missouri; Son-in-law, Brian Bowman of Kansas City, Missouri; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Annetta McMillan of Des Moines, Iowa, and Barbara Carlock of North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; and two brothers, Calvin Cossins and Ora Cossins.

Funeral services will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. A visitation will be held at Lindley Funeral Home, Chillicothe, Missouri on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be held at Wheeling Cemetery, Wheeling, Missouri.
